    • Chandigarh, August 8 – Now the grievances of farmers in Haryana will be redressed by organizing Kisan Panchayats. The government has decided to constitute a five-member team of Ministers headed by Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister Mr OP Dhankar which will visit in the state and interact with the farmers to resolve their grievances. 
    • This was stated by Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, Mr Krishan Kumar Bedi while interacting with media persons here today. A decision to this effect was taken in a meeting of the Ministers, chaired by Chief Minister Mr Manohar Lal.
    • The other members of team include Education Minister Mr Ram Bilas Sharma, Public Works (Building and Roads) Minister Rao Narbir Singh, Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Mr Krishan Kumar Bedi and Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Mr Nayab Singh Saini. 
    • He said that team of Ministers would visit all over the state and organize Kisan panchayats on farmers issues. The team would also inform about various initiatives taken in the interest of farmers by the government during its last three years regime. 
    • He said that present government is completing its three years on October 26, 2017 and the concluding of the golden jubilee year on November 1. A big event will also be organized on this occasion. Apart from this, many other important issues have also been discussed in the meeting, he added.
