    • Chandigarh, Nov 14— The Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal, has said that the BJP is committed to eradicating corruption from Haryana. Taking their responsibility, he said no party leader would indulge in corruption, and, if any BJP leader is found doing so, he would be thrown out of the party.
    • Mr Manohar Lal was addressing a well attended gathering at Pataudi, near Gurugram, today where he inaugurated a newly constructed 50-bedded civil hospital. In all, he inaugurated four projects costing Rs 63.65 crore and laid stones of seven new projects to be completed at a cost of Rs 35.41 crore, taking the total to about Rs 100 crore.
    • Gurugram is an icon of Haryana and not only we, the entire world is looking towards Gurugram how it is being developed. Its development has had great impact on places on its outskirts like Pataudi and other towns.
    • Reiterating the commitment to eradicate corruption, the Chief Minister said when the Prime Minister, Mr Narender Modi, assumed office, he had said in precise words, ‘Na Kahunga, Na Khane Dunga’ (neither will I take bribe, nor will I allow anyone to take bribe).
    • The Haryana Government has taken a number of steps to honour the commitment of the Prime Minister. As a result, people have now started saying that corruption has been eradicated at the top level though it persisted to some extent at the lower level. In order to curb corruption at the lower level, we have abolished interviews in Group C & D recruitment because the Prime Minister says that no interviewer, how much intelligent he may be, can judge the intelligentsia level of a person in just five minutes.
    • Referring to the schemes like Swacch Haryana-Swasth Haryana and Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao, the Chief Minister said these had changed the mindset of the people. 
    • On the request of the Union Minister of State, Rao Inderjit Singh, to make an announcement on the opening of a branch of AIIMS in Manethi village of Rewari district, the Chief Minister said he had already made the announcement. It would have been good to make the announcement after obtaining the consent of the Central Government.
    • The Chief Minister told the Union Minister that since he (Rao Inderjit) went to Delhi every day, he should meet the Central Ministers to get work on the announcement done early and, if needed, even talk to the Prime Minister. He said he was also trying his best to get the work completed and had written a letter to the Union Health Minister, Mr. J. P. Nadda, and also had a meeting with him.
    • Referring to the demands raised by Pataudi MLA, Mrs Bimla Choudhary, Mr Manohar Lal announced construction of a 50-bedded hospital in Farukhnagar, and said the state government planned to open a medical college in the name of Mata Sheetla in Gurugram. He also announced Rs15 crore for nine roads of Pataudi, opening of a veterinary dispensary in village Baspadampaka and Nanukhurd and vyayamshalas in seven villages of the constituency. 
    • The Chief Minister announced that offices of the Public Health Engineering, Social Justice and Welfare, Employment, Excise, Labour and Sports Departments would be opened at Pataudi. On the request to shift the tehsils of some villages, he said this issue would be given to the committee constituted for this purpose. 
    • The Gurugram-Pataudi-Rewari road had been declared National Highway and its detailed project report would be got completed by the Central Government. He also announced Rs 15 crore for development works in Pataudi constituency. 
    • The Union Minister of State for Chemical and Fertilizers, Rao Inderjit Singh, Minister of State for Public Health and Engineering, Dr Banwari Lal, and former Minister, Mr Bikram Yadav, were also present on this occasion.
    • Chandigarh, Nov 14- Haryana Government has a plan to set up an authority for the development of industries on both sides of Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP) Expressway, which would not only ensure the development of areas along the Expressway, but also provide employment opportunities to lakhs of youth.
    • This was disclosed by the Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal while addressing the people after inaugurating and laying foundation stone of many projects to the tune of Rs 100 crore in Pataudi, Gurugram district today.
    • He said that Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) was being constituted to resolve the matters of developers. In this, one Authority would be for Gurugram and other Authority for rest of the districts of the State. “RERA Authority has been finalised and names of the members would soon be announced”, said the Chief Minister.
    • The Chief Minister said, “We have constituted Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) for the overall development of Gurugram district. Now, all the developmental schemes of this district would be formulated by this Authority and there would be no need to go to Chandigarh for this.”
    • He said that Haryana State Cyber Crime Cell has been set up for keeping a check on cyber crime. A separate police station to deal with Cyber Crime would also be opened, he added.
