    • Chandigarh, April 13- Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal inaugurated the innovation and startup hub of HARTRON set up with the assistance of NASSCOM in village Dundahera of district Gurugram today. As many as six centres would be started in this hub and these would also be linked with incubation centres set up in the state universities. Apart from this, the startups working in this hub would be linked with Saksham portal.
    • The United Nations Technology and Innovation Lab would soon be set up in this hub. This startup warehouse has been set up under the scheme of NASSCOM to open 10,000 startup warehouses in the country. The startup hub of Gurugram equipped with latest facilities would be first of its kind in the country.
    • The Chief Minister said that this hub would also have the facility of micro finance startup and skill upgrade where besides upgrading the skills of the startups, they would be provided guidance for getting financial assistance to start their own business. He said that facilities like IAMAI Mobile 10X Startup (Mobile Application Development Centre), Centre of Excellence for Internet of Things (CoE-IoT), Skill Training for Persons with Disabilities and Skill Training under Solar Mission and Information Technology and Information Technology enabled Services (IT/ITeS) have also been made available in this startup hub.
    • He said that the state government is working on a model where the youth would become a job giver instead of job seeker. He said that the startups would guide the youth registered on the Saksham portal about the kind of training, they should get according to their qualification so that they could get employment opportunities or start their own business. This would benefit about 45,000 unemployed youth registered under the Saksham scheme, he added.
    • The Chief Minister said that in the present era of information technology, Haryana is fast moving on the path of development. He said that as a result of information technology, the world has limited to a global village. While appreciating the work of HARTRON, he said that this innovation and startup hub would prove to be very useful for the youth as our youth has a high demographic dividend. They are innovative, entrepreneur and have talent and zeal to perform better, he added. He hoped that this hub would prove to be effective in supplementing the efforts of the state government to assist the youth in starting technology business and assured all support and cooperation of his government in this endeavour.
    • On this occasion, the Chief Minister also appreciated the organisation namely Sarthak, working for the cause of physically challenged persons, for starting various courses in this hub. He said that this would help them bringing into the mainstream of the society.

    • Chandigarh, April 13 - The Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal, has congratulated the sports persons from Haryana who won medals in different events at the Commonwealth Games, today.
    • While Bajrang Punia (men’s 57kg) won gold, Pooja Dhanda (women's 57kg) and Mausam Khatri (men's 97kg) picked up silver. Fifteen-year-old Anish Bhanwala made history by becoming India's youngest gold medalist after shooting 30 points which is a Commonwealth Games record in the 25m Rapid Fire final. Boxers, Manish Kaushik, Vikas Krishan and Amit reached the finals. 
    • In a statement issued here today, the Chief Minister said, “I congratulate all the players who won laurels and did Haryana and the country proud. I wish all our participants in the CWG best of performance and best of luck”.

    • Chandigarh, Apr 13 – Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal will visit Israel to attend Agri Summit and for the implementation of bilateral programmes from May 8 to 10.
    • It was informed in the 3rd meeting of Israel-Haryana Working Group held under the chairmanship of Haryana Chief Secretary, Mr. D.S. Dhesi and co-chairmanship of Israel's Ambassador to India, Mr. Daniel Cameron at New Delhi today. Discussions were held regarding implementation of bilateral programmes and scheme between Haryana and Israel in the meeting.
    • Later, interacting with media persons, Mr. Dhesi said that programmes of new techniques in different fields were being promoted between Israel and Haryana. He said that the bilateral assistance would be taken further in various fields.
    • Referring to the visits of Prime Ministers of India and Israel to each other’s countries, Mr. Cameron said that work was being carried out to implement their important announcements.
    • In the meeting various issues were discussed such as assistance in setting up of Centres of Excellence for animal husbandry and dairy farm, assistance in setting up of Centres of Excellence for agriculture and horticulture, micro irrigation, assistance in development of smart cities, education and training, start-up ecosystem, assistance in incubation centre and start-up warehouse, security and cyber security.

    • Chandigarh, April 13- Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal will preside over the State Level function on  April 14 at District Kurukshetra to celebrate Baba Sahib Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar Jayanti and would inaugurate Antyodaya Bhawan.
    • Giving details, a spokesman said that the Chief Minister would inaugurate Antyodaya Bhawan and Bharat Nirman Seva Kendra of Thanesar block. After this, he would launch Antyodaya centres of district Panchkula, Ambala, Kurukshetra, Karnal, Fatehabad, Mahendragarh and Rohtak through video conferencing. In addition, he would also flag off 10 Swachhta Vaahans for 10 villages for collecting garbage.
    • After this, he would address a public meeting at Pipli in a function organised to celebrate Baba Sahib Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar Jayanti.
    • Meanwhile, he would also oversee the ongoing preparations of convocation of Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra to be presided over by Vice President, Mr M. Venkaiah Naidu on April 19.
