  • Chandigarh, July 4- Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal said that with the announcement of schedule of Baroda Assembly by-elections, the party will announce its candidate only after consulting with JJP.
  • The Chief Minister said this while answering questions raised by the media persons during inspecting the Bhagat Phool Singh Government Medical College at Khanpur Kalan in Gohana district Sonipat today.
  • Mr. Manohar Lal said that the State Government has decided to set up around 1000 park-gymnasiums in the State of which over more than half of the gymnasiums have already been set up. The Chief Minister today inaugurated 12 newly constructed park-gymnasiums in several blocks of Sonipat district. He said that yoga teachers will also be appointed in all gymnasiums across the State.
  • The Chief Minister said that as performing Yoga asanas is effective in developing immunity of the body, the importance of the gymnasiums has increased even more amid global pandemic.
  • He said that to prevent from corona virus, people should consume the herbal products as identified by AYUSH Department. He said that wellness centers of AYUSH Department will also be set up in the Vayamshala to facilitate the villagers.
  • While responding to another question, he said that amidst COVID-19, he is visiting the State as the Central Government had given permission to Chief Ministers and Ministers to visit the field and therefore he visited Gohana today.
  • He said that by interacting with the people of the State during his visit, he is also taking information regarding the problems and demands of the people.
  • Among those present on the occasion included, Member of Parliament, Mr. Ramesh Chander Kaushik, MLA Mr. Mohan Lal Badoli and MLA, Mrs. Nirmal Chaudhary, Additional Chief Secretary, Medical Education & Research Mr. Alok Nigam, Director of BPS Medical College, Mrs. Amneet P. Kumar along with other concerned officials.
  • Chandigarh, July 4- Due to the extensive efforts of Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi, Yoga has emerged as a new revolution in the lives of people within the country and abroad. Taking this revolution to the youth of the State, Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal will inaugurate parks and gymnasiums in 1000 villages and in this sequence, he will inaugurate the first 110 parks and gymnasiums from Chandigarh tomorrow through video conferencing.
  • Giving detailed information in this regard, an official spokesperson said that Haryana Deputy Chief Minister, Mr. Dushyant Chautala, who also holds the portfolio of Development and Panchayats Department, will be present on the occasion.
  • It is noteworthy that the Chief Minister inaugurated 401 parks and gymnasiums at one go from Panchkula on the occasion of International Yoga Day in the year 2019 and he has also formed the Haryana Yoga Parishad.
  • The spokesperson said that with the aim to make yoga an integral part of everyone’s life, the Chief Minister has decided to engage yoga volunteers in the yoga centres and gymnasiums being opened in rural areas of the state. These Yoga volunteers will be appointed through Zila Parishads and preference will be given to the youth of the same village or of nearby villages, he added. He said that the age limit for these Yoga volunteers will be between 18 and 35 years and the educational qualification will be 10 + 2 pass from Haryana School Education Board or CBSE. In addition, they must possess a certification of Level-1 or its equivalent course in Yoga from one of the 16 nationally recognized institutes or a one-year diploma from any university. Apart from this, AYUSH coaches will also be appointed in every district under the outsourcing policy to monitor the working of these Yoga Volunteers till regular recruitment. The educational qualification for AYUSH coaches will be the same as prescribed for the Yoga Coach by the Department of Sports and Youth Affairs.
  • He said that with the efforts of the Prime Minister, yoga has become a part of the lifestyle of the people. Thus reviving this ancient practice of India, today yoga has rejuvenated the health of the people and now even the youth of the state are making yoga a part of their daily lifestyle, he added. He said that parks and gymnasiums will be a suitable place for people to practice yoga.
  • In order to bring a positive change in the mindset of the people during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Ministry of AYUSH organized a "Mera Jeevan-Mera Yog" video blogging competition on International Yoga Day this year and appealed to the people to practice yoga with their families at home which gained a lot of support from the people.
  • Chandigarh, July 4– Extolling the selfless service of doctors of COVID Hospital BPS Medical College Khanpur Kalan (Sonepat), Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal motivated them with the reward of promotion. He also congratulated the dedicated hospital staff for working diligently during COVID-19.
  • Chief Minister Manohar Lal was inspecting the BPS Medical College Khanpur Kalan today and during a special meeting with the doctors he immediately agreed to the demand of promotion made by assistant professors and directed them to send a report in this regard within a week.
  • During the meeting, the Chief Minister praised the hospital personnel and also sought information about the doctors, staff nurses and other para-medical staff working in the hospital.
  • The Chief Minister said that the COVID Hospital set up at BPS Medical College has given excellent results, as a result of which most of the corona infected patients admitted to the hospital have recovered and returned home. Although, it is a challenging time not only for Sonepat but for the entire state, country and the world. The corona virus is a worldwide pandemic and everyone is wary of it.
  • The Chief Minister said that the doctors are honestly and responsibly rendering their services. Along with this, the entire administration is busy overcoming Corona with full diligence. People are coming forward to play the role of Corona warriors through Social organizations and as volunteers. While keeping the important work aside, several people are working to increase the availability of essential goods for Corona. He gave the example of the Maruti Company, which has stopped manufacturing cars for the time being and has taken steps to manufacture ventilators. In fact the company has also presented some ventilators to the state government, which have been sent to various hospitals. Similarly, many volunteer support groups have done exemplary work of making masks.
  • The Chief Minister said that every person should use a mask. This puts a check on the spread of the global pandemic and hoped to soon get rid of the corona virus pandemic.
  • During the meeting with the doctors, the Chief Minister earnestly discussed the demand of the need of school in the campus and said that an excellent school would be established here for the children of hospital personnel and those residing in the surrounding areas. He sought information on the availability of land along with its prospects and also discussed the establishment of the Government Model Sanskrit Senior Secondary School in the area.
  • Mr. Manohar Lal also made a special visit to the infected patients undergoing treatment at COVID Hospital. He himself visited the COVID ward wearing a PPE kit. During this, he also wished for their good health. He also asked the patients about any problems they might be facing to which they responded that they were satisfied with the treatment. The Chief Minister hoped that nothing was lacking in the treatment being provided to the patients.
  • Besides this, the Chief Minister also inaugurated 12 newly built park-Vyayamshalas in various blocks of Sonepat district at a cost of Rs. 4,38,23,000. These include Vyayamshalas in village Dubheta in Gannaur block worth Rs 45,40,000 and in Bajan Khurd worth Rs 34,13,000 and in Gumad worth Rs 39,36,000 and in Bhadi worth Rs 40,50,000. Also, in Guhana block in village Bilbilan Vyayamshala was set up at a cost of Rs. 45,40,000, in Mahra at a cost of Rs 45,40,000 and in Kasanda Rs. 33,88,000, in Mundlana village of Mundlana block worth Rs 45,40,000 and in Siwanaka worth Rs. 45,40,000, in Sandal Nivada in Sonepat block worth Rs 31,38,000 and the park-Vyayamshala constructed at a cost of Rs 31,98,000 in Farmana village of Kharkhoda block and in Jati Kalan village of Rai block worth Rs. 37,82,000.
  • Chandigarh, July 4– Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal while interacting with media persons at NC College of Engineering Technical Campus, Israna said that the situation in the State due to COVID-19 is gradually coming back to normalcy, however, it is very important to ensure that everyone is taking precautionary steps to prevent it.
  • He said that the people have to incorporate social distancing as well as the habit of wearing masks in their daily routine. At the same time, sanitization has to be continuously adopted, he added. He said that everyone must ensure compliance with the guidelines issued by the Central and State Government from time to time, only then would the COVID-19 pandemic be overcome.
  • Deputy Commissioner, Panipat, Mr. Dharmender Singh, Superintendent of Police, Panipat, Ms. Manisha Chaudhary, former Minister Mr. Krishan Lal Panwar, and Mayor Panipat, Ms. Avneet Kaur, were present among others.
  • Mr. Manohar Lal also visited Khanpur Medical College on Saturday.
  • Chandigarh, July 4- Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal said that despite COVID-19, now industrial and commercial activities are back to normal in the state. In order to prevent the effect of pandemic on children’s education during the Corona transition period, education is being imparted through online mode.
  • The Chief Minister was talking to mediapersons in Rohtak today. He said that the procurement of foodgrains during the Corona pandemic was also satisfactory. To expedite the procurement of wheat, the government had set up more than 1,800 procurement centres and during this season, record procurement of mustard, wheat and other crops was made. Meanwhile, the farmers were also paid directly to their account through pool account.
  • The Chief Minister said that PGIMS, Rohtak and administration are dealing with Corona pandemic with full preparedness. He said that the whole world is fighting against Corona.
  • He said that he has discussed this issue in detail with PGI Rohtak and administrative officers. Complete preparations have been made for availability of isolation beds, ICU beds, COVID care centres, availability of hospital beds and oxygen.
  • He said that today he has also inspected Khanpur Medical College in Sonepat and has also talked to doctors about improving the prevailing condition of corona spread. He said that he has met patients of Corona and took information about their health at the medical college.
  • On this occasion, former Haryana Minister Mr. Manish Kumar Grover, Municipal Corporation Mayor Mr. Manmohan Goyal, Rohtak Mandal Commissioner Dr. D Suresh, IG Mr. Sandeep Khirwar, Deputy Commissioner Mr. RS Verma, Superintendent of Police Mr. Rahul Sharma, CID and SP, Cyber Crime Mr. Pankaj Nain and officers from various departments were present.
