  • Chandigarh, December 13 - The Haryana Chief Minister Mr Manohar Lal today reiterated that corruption will not be tolerated and strict action will be taken against the corrupt officials. He said that is government is committed to make the Haryana state corruption free and this agenda is being going on since his government’s last tenure, which is being carried forward in this second tenure as well.
  • Mr Manohar Lal was talking to media persons after presiding over the monthly meeting of district grievances redressal committee in Swatantrata Senani Zila Parishad Bhavan of Gurugram today. He redressed almost all the 12 complaints put forth before him in the meeting has been redressed. He said that decision has been taken at the state level to hold district grievances redressal committee meeting regularly and it will be held either on 2nd or 4th Friday of every month in the state. Adding that in rare cases it may be deferred or preponed, only in cases of urgency.

  • The Chief Minister announced that special girdavari has been ordered in the state to analyse the losses in crops due to hailstorm and heavy torrential rains on Thursday. He said that losses in crops have been reported districts Nuh, Palwal, Charkhi Dadri, Bhiwani and Jhajjar.
  • Replying to another question the Chief Minister said that Transport Nagar will be developed in Gurugram and he had directed the concerned authorities to identify the real transporters in a month and present detailed plan in the next meeting. Also announced that and international level flower market would be developed in gurugram for which about 8 acres of land has been identified in sector 52. Now it's planning has been completed. He directed the agriculture and horticulture department authorities to educate the farmers to get the crops sown on the Meri fasal Mera byora portal within a month of sowing.
  • The Chief Minister also ordered the municipal corporation Gurugram authorities that no fresh licences will be issued for opening meat shops in residential colonies falling In the Corporation area.
  • On the issue of allotting flats to poor families residing in jhuggies on government land, the Chief Minister directed the Haryana Shahari Vikas Pradhikaran authorities to allot the flats to real beneficiaries under Ashiyana Scheme within 2 months. A committee under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner Mohammed Imran Raza is verifying the identification of the beneficiaries under this scheme based on survey conducted earlier.
  • The Chief Minister said that in order to remove old diesel autos from the roads of Gurugram, an action plan has been prepared according to which more than 5 years older diesel auto rickshaws will be replaced with e-rickshaws in a phased manner.
  • The Secretary RTA cum ADC Mohammad Imran Raza apprised the CM that no new permits were issued for diesel autos in the district and the work of installing fare meters on the autos has also been started.
