  • It was decided not to open liquor shops in the villages, where Gram Sabha had submitted a proposal of not opening a liquor shop to the Government. Till now, these proposals have been received from 872 Gram Panchayats.
  • Due to the global epidemic of corona, 115 Manufacturing Units, Distillery, Bottling Plants were allowed to make sanitizer in the interest of the State.
  • During the lockdown period 1272 refund was processed and about Rs160 crores was paid to the taxpayers.
  • Fee due for delay in submission of GSTR-3B return and GSTR-1 for the months of February, March and April, 2020 was waived off.
  • Relief to the taxpayers by reducing the rate of interest payable when filing GSTR-3B for the months February, March and April, 2020.
  • Taxpayers opting for the Composition Scheme for the financial year 2020-21 are allowed to file their option as CMP-2 by June 30, 2020.
  • The form of GST CMP-08 in which the details of filing the payment of self-assessed tax, the date of filing has been extended up to July 7, 2020 and the date of filing GSTR-4 for the financial year ending till March, 03, 2020 has been extended to July 07, 2020.
  • The excise year will continue from May 6, 2020 to May 19, 2021.
