  • Chandigarh, March 27: Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal has said that officers should work seriously to prevent road accidents. For this, he directed to repair the roads in a timely manner, control over-loading as well as completely check on over-speeding, making use of helmets and seat belts mandatory; setting them as priorities for the year 2021 so as to curb accidents. Along with this, directions were given to plan new roads seriously keeping future requirements in mind as well.

  • Chandigarh March 27: Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal presided over a review meeting regarding the procurement process of Rabi crops commencing from April 1, 2021 and directed the concerned officials to make all necessary arrangements. During the meeting, a booklet containing information about the entire arrangement of procurement process was also released. Besides this, the Chief Minister also gave instructions to ensure 100% payment directly into the account of farmers.

  • Chandigarh, March 23: In a bid to ensure that there is no delay in payments to be made to farmers during the upcoming Rabi Season 2021-22 commencing from April 1, 2021, Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that about 9 percent interest (Bank rate plus one percent) would be paid to the farmers if their payments are delayed. The payments would be made directly into the verified accounts of farmers.
